About VAT and shipping

Our production and logistics are actually located in Italy (European Union -  EU) and all the orders are shipped from EU.

We ship to United Kigdom (UK) DDP (delivered duties paid).

VAT

The prices on our web site are VAT exclusive.

If you purchase for the company, based in EU, please provide your VAT number. This will be added to your invoice.

If you purchase as individual with delivery to Brazil, please provide your National Tax number (required by Fedex and Brazil customs to allow the import).

Our company is registered in The Netherlands. All the clients from Netherlands (individuals and companies, are a subject to pay VAT (21%).

All the individual clients from European Community are a subject to pay VAT (21%).

All the companies from European Community (except The Netherlands) are not a subject to pay VAT (21%). A valid VAT is mandatory.
This will be added to your invoice.
We proceed the order online with VAT verification. Providing non valid VAT number the order can not be complete.

Ready-to-Wear & Custom Production Delivery Services 

Together with our delivery service providers, we have updated our operating procedures.

Dispatching for the items from the Ready-to-Wear Collection takes around 1-7 business days before shipping.

Bespoke and Made-to-Measure orders production time is 10-40 business days before dispatching (depends on model and materials availability).

Please allow some time after your order has been placed before contacting us.

We ship with Fedex / DHL / UPS or TNT Italia depending on the destination. We use Priority shipping method (usually 2-7 business days for common destinations worldwide.)

As our shipping service partners are taking additional precautions when performing deliveries, this could result in unexpected delays and we apologize for this inconvenience.

California (USA) Ban on goods made from exotic materials

We actually do not ship goods made from protected exotic spices (alligator, caiman, lizard, python, shark, stingray leather) to California in United States of America.

Please use any other locations for delivery of your orders made from this exotic leather.

We CANNOT guarantee any international shipping times; however, the average quoted international shipping time from Fedex  is 1-5 business days.

Please Note - International shipping times may vary based on their destination and can be subject to customs clearance delays.

Please Note - Customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country and VISCONTI MILANO has no control over these charges. YOU are liable/responsible for all import duties, customs and taxes applied. Payment of these is required to release your order from customs on arrival. We will mark your package as a gift if you request.

Delivery costs are charged to you by Visconti Milano, and are in addition to the price of the Visconti Milano products themselves. The cost of delivery shall be as indicated on the shipping rates table available on the e-shop.

When estimating delivery time, please allow for credit approval, address verification and order processing. Once the order is processed and ready for dispatch Visconti Milano will email you a confirmation.

After placing a Bespoke online order all the data is going directly to our Italian artisans that will meticulously create very personal unique custom made watch strap for your timepiece.

Usually the Bespoke elaboration takes from 5 up to 30 business days.

Each delivery package will contain, in addition to your purchased Visconti Milano product: box/packaging, strap tools, instruction cards (when applicable).
Invoice is sent digitally via e-mail.

Visconti Milano insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you. We require a signature by an adult to confirm your acceptance of each Visconti Milano product delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you have specified a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes (e.g. a gift) then you understand and accept that evidence of a signature by such recipient (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfillment of the sale contract by Visconti Milano and transfer of responsibility to the recipient in the same way as if the product had been delivered to you.

Our carriers do to not ship to P.O. BOXES. We kindly ask you to provide us the residential or business address as a shipping one when filling out the order form.

*** – the shipping term starts from the moment when your order has being processed by our logistic department and the package was prepared to ship by the carrier with the tracking number issued.

Ready to Wear products available in stock ordered in August will be shipped first weeks of September****.

**** - Italian Factory is closed for vacations in August (annually) for Italian Holidays season (Ferragosto).

Some Ready-to-Wear products, Backorders and Bespoke production ordered from 20 July until the end of August may need an extra 10-20 business days in production time. We apologize for any inconvenience.
